Minimac Systems Raises ₹30 Cr for Lubricant Recycling Infrastructure Expansion
Indian startup Minimac Systems has raised ₹30 crore (approx. $3.2 million) in a funding round to scale its lubricant recycling and circularity infrastructure across India.

Pune-based startup Minimac Systems has secured ₹30 crore (approximately $3.2 million) in a funding round led by Zerodha's investment arm, Rainmatter. The company plans to use the capital to expand its lubricant recycling and circularity infrastructure throughout India.
The funds will be allocated towards research and development (R&D) of miniaturized fluid-treatment infrastructure, fleet automation, and fluid analytics. Additionally, a portion of the investment will support the enhancement of its recycling technology and the expansion of its doorstep services.
Founded in 2012, Minimac Systems focuses on the lifecycle management of lubricants. The startup operates in three areas of lubricant circularity: nano-circularity for monitoring lubricant condition, micro-circularity for restoring recoverable lubricant, and 'Recycling on Wheels' which deploys mobile treatment systems at industrial plants.
India is the world's third-largest lubricant market, consuming over 5 million tonnes annually. Minimac aims to support industries in adopting more sustainable practices and reducing carbon emissions.
