MiniMax Opens First Official Flagship Store on Tmall

Chinese AI firm MiniMax has launched its first official flagship store on the Tmall e-commerce platform. The store is offering token subscription packages.

13 October 2026

Chinese AI firm MiniMax has officially launched its first brand flagship store on the Tmall e-commerce platform. The store is now offering "M Plan" subscription packages, divided into Go, Explore, and Build tiers, available for monthly or annual purchase.

MiniMax's move to open an official store on Tmall follows a broader trend of AI companies beginning to sell their services on major online retail platforms. Tmall has also introduced a centralized "AI Space Station" for token top-ups, consolidating subscription services from multiple large AI models into a single entry point.

Reports from October 13 indicate that other AI companies, including Zhipu AI and Alibaba Cloud's Qianwen Office, have also established stores on Tmall. Earlier in September, the Shanghai Securities News reported that Kimi and Jieyue Xingchen were in discussions with Tmall, with plans to open their own official flagship stores on the platform.

This expansion onto Tmall signifies a shift in sales strategies for large language model providers. Previously, these companies primarily sold their subscription products through their own official websites and direct channels. Establishing a presence on a platform like Tmall could significantly broaden their customer reach and accessibility.
