MINISO Reports Strong Sales Growth in China and IP Success
MINISO Group announced strong sales performance for the third quarter of 2026 in mainland China. The company's flagship IP, YOYO, surpassed RMB 1 billion in sales.

GUANGZHOU, China – MINISO Group Holding Limited provided a business update on Tuesday, reporting strong sales performance in mainland China for the recent quarter. The figures, based on preliminary operational data, indicate that gross merchandise volume (GMV) in mainland China for the third quarter (Q3 2026) grew by 25% to 30% year-over-year.
This growth represents an acceleration from the first half of the year, supported by a high single-digit same-store sales (SSG) increase. Sales momentum continued through the National Day holiday period (October 1-7, 2026) in mainland China, with GMV growing 20% to 25% year-over-year, albeit with a lower single-digit SSG.
The company's proprietary IP, YOYO, achieved a significant milestone by generating over RMB 1 billion in GMV for the first nine months of 2026. Launched in June 2025, YOYO has expanded into 53 countries and regions globally, marking it as one of the fastest Chinese original IPs to achieve large-scale international expansion.
MINISO's overseas markets performed largely in line with expectations. MINISO USA reported around 20% GMV growth in Q3 2026. Performance notably rebounded in September 2026 with new product arrivals, achieving over 30% GMV year-over-year growth and positive SSG.
MINISO Group operates as an IP-driven retailer and operation platform, offering value-for-money and aesthetic products. The company aims to deliver engaging experiences and emotional value to consumers worldwide under its 'Life is for Fun' philosophy.
