Minister of Economic Affairs visits NORD DRIVESYSTEMS
Schleswig-Holstein's Minister of Economic Affairs Claus Ruhe Madsen visited NORD DRIVESYSTEMS in Bargteheide to discuss conditions for long-term operational success.
Claus Ruhe Madsen, Schleswig-Holstein's Minister of Economic Affairs, visited NORD DRIVESYSTEMS' facility in Bargteheide in April. The visit focused on discussing the prerequisites for the company's sustained success in the North German region.
The minister engaged in dialogue with NORD DRIVESYSTEMS' management and employees. He also toured the production halls, observing industrial assembly processes and a new automated small parts warehouse. These operations highlighted the company's international competitiveness in drive technology manufacturing.
NORD DRIVESYSTEMS presented three key proposals to Minister Madsen for consideration in future policy work. These were the need for skilled employees, competitive production cost conditions, and a reduction in bureaucratic requirements, specifically concerning sustainability reporting and the Supply Chain Act.
