MiniTool Partition Wizard 13.9 Adds BitLocker Management

MiniTool Software Limited announced the release of MiniTool Partition Wizard 13.9 on July 16, 2026. The updated partition management software includes a new BitLocker Manager, designed to streamline the process of managing encrypted hard drives directly within the application. This feature allows users to turn BitLocker on or off and lock or unlock encrypted drives without needing to switch to separate Windows settings.

The integrated BitLocker Manager provides users with control over their encrypted partitions within a single workspace. The tool also displays accurate used and free space information for unlocked BitLocker partitions, enhancing the efficiency of managing protected data. This functionality is available in the free edition of the software.

Version 13.9 significantly expands support for BitLocker-protected partitions. Users can now perform a range of disk and partition operations, including resizing, copying, formatting, and partition recovery, on encrypted drives while maintaining compatibility with Windows BitLocker. The update supports operations on unlocked data partitions, locked data partitions, and BitLocker-protected system partitions.

Furthermore, the software optimizes NTFS partition handling, incorporating widened support for cluster sizes up to 2MB for greater flexibility with large storage devices. Usability improvements include enhanced high-DPI support and refined icons for a more consistent user interface experience across supported Windows environments.
