Mintos Launches Fee-Free ETF Investing from €1

Berlin-based investment platform Mintos has launched Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) on its platform, providing European investors access to over 1,000 popular ETFs. The service allows investments to start from as little as €1, with no transaction or custody fees applied. This move aims to lower the barrier to entry for investors in Europe, where ETF adoption has been steadily increasing.

Martins Sulte, CEO and co-founder of Mintos, highlighted the growing ETF market, noting that European investors put €330 billion into ETFs in 2025. He emphasized the platform's goal to remove hurdles for investors, particularly for those making smaller, regular investments where traditional fees can significantly erode returns.

The platform offers over 1,000 UCITS-compliant funds from well-regarded global providers such as iShares, VanEck, and Vanguard, in partnership with Upvest. The selection aims to be broad enough for diverse portfolios while remaining focused to simplify investment choices. Customers can choose to manage their ETF investments directly or opt for a pre-built, automatically rebalanced portfolio called "Mintos Core ETFs," which has a €50 starting threshold and no management or custody fees.

Mintos also plans to introduce investment plans (savings plans) in the future, enabling automated regular deposits. This feature is expected to further enhance the platform's offering for long-term wealth building by allowing continuous portfolio growth with minimal manual intervention.
