Miral Invests AED 12 Billion for Yas Island's Next Growth Phase

Miral, Abu Dhabi's creator of immersive destinations, announced on Tuesday a AED 12 billion (approximately $3.27 billion) investment to drive the next phase of growth on Yas Island. Over the next five years, the company plans to expand the island's attractions, increase hotel capacity, and further solidify its global appeal.

The initiative includes the development of new immersive destinations and enhancements to existing attractions. While specific details on the new destinations have not yet been released, the investment is focused on deepening the overall guest experience on the island, which is already known for its theme parks, shopping, and sporting events.

The investment aims to cement Yas Island's position as a premier family-friendly and experiential travel destination worldwide. Miral stated that the funding will support the island's expansion and its ability to attract a larger international visitor base.

Miral has previously been responsible for developing and operating key Yas Island attractions such as Yas Mall, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi. This latest investment marks a significant step in the company's strategy to ensure the island's future growth.
