Mission Critical Partners to Aid Kentucky's Statewide NG911 Transformation
Mission Critical Partners (MCP) has been selected to assist the Commonwealth of Kentucky in advancing its statewide Next Generation 911 (NG911) transformation. The initiative aims to modernize the state's emergency communication infrastructure.
Mission Critical Partners (MCP) will support the Commonwealth of Kentucky's statewide transition to a Next Generation 911 (NG911) system. This project marks a significant step in the state's efforts to upgrade its emergency response communications.
The NG911 system is designed to enable richer communication methods, including text, images, and video, to be sent to 911 centers. This upgrade aims to improve information sharing and response times during emergencies, particularly for individuals who cannot speak or hear.
The collaboration will focus on managing the complex shift from the legacy voice-based 911 system to the new, IP-based emergency communication platform. MCP is expected to provide technical expertise and strategic guidance throughout the transition.
