MMA Global, the global non-profit industry association, has announced its rebranding to the Marketing + Media Alliance (MMA). This strategic shift signifies the organization's evolution into a leading global community for Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) and senior marketing professionals.

The rebranding underscores MMA's commitment to enhancing marketers' capacity for value creation by uniting CMOs worldwide to shape the future of marketing, brands, and business. The alliance encompasses the entire marketing ecosystem at a governance level, including brand marketers, media, adtech, martech, agencies, and consultants.

"MMA is for CMOs, directed by CMOs, but supported by the whole marketing industry," stated Greg Stuart, CEO of MMA Global. "We are dedicated to generating new knowledge to address the most pressing unanswered questions and unlock major opportunities for CMOs and marketing." The organization has invested significantly in advancing marketing science and knowledge through its global think tanks.

Originally founded as the Mobile Marketing Association in 2003, MMA has broadened its mission over the years, formally changing its legal name to MMA Global, Inc. in 2022. The current rebrand solidifies this expanded scope. The alliance boasts over 825 corporate members globally and organizes more than 62 conferences annually across 16 countries.
