Moberg Pharma receives U.S. patent for MOB-015 dosing method
Moberg Pharma has secured a U.S. patent covering an improved dosing regimen for its topical nail fungus treatment, MOB-015.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has granted Moberg Pharma a patent related to the dosing of its topical nail fungus drug, MOB-015. This development marks the first time the company has received patent protection for this specific dosing method, with the patent expected to remain in effect until December 2041.
The patent is supported by data from various clinical trials, including the company’s most recent Phase 3 study conducted in North America. CEO Anna Ljung noted that securing this intellectual property is essential as the company evaluates its long-term development and partnership strategy for the U.S. market.
As the world's largest market for onychomycosis treatments, the U.S. remains a key focus for Moberg Pharma. The company is currently working toward a potential future FDA submission. In the interim, Moberg Pharma continues to concentrate on regions where the product is already approved and marketed, such as Sweden and Norway, where it is sold under the brand name Terclara.
