MobiKwik reports profit for Q2 FY27
Indian fintech firm MobiKwik reached a net profit of ₹11.8 Cr in the second quarter, marking a turnaround driven by growth in its lending business.

MobiKwik has reported a net profit of ₹11.8 Cr for the second quarter of fiscal year 2027, reversing the ₹28.6 Cr loss recorded in the same period last year. The company's operating revenue rose 9.4% year-on-year to ₹295.7 Cr, while total expenses saw a marginal decline of 1.8% to ₹290.9 Cr.
The performance shift is largely attributed to the company’s financial services division, which increased loan disbursements and improved the quality of its loan book. While the payments segment processed higher gross transaction values, revenue growth was tempered by a shift in the transaction mix, leading to lower take rates.
MobiKwik's management stated that both core business segments expanded contribution margins during the quarter. The company plans to leverage artificial intelligence across its lending, engineering, and risk management functions to further drive operational efficiency in the coming quarters.
