Media agency m.objects is launching a new two-day practical workshop focused on storytelling through a combination of photography, video, and audio. The "Storytelling mit m.objects" workshop begins with a photo walk through downtown Münster, where participants will capture photos, videos, and sound recordings. The aim is to teach participants the entire workflow, from gathering and editing material to composing a final multimedia narrative on a timeline.
The workshop is designed to teach participants how to develop ideas for a presentation and implement them effectively within a set timeframe. The first day focuses on collecting and initially processing the gathered material. On the second day, participants will use m.objects software to create their own multimedia presentation from their collected photos, videos, and audio recordings.
Workshop leaders Peter Hoffmann and Stefan Schuster will provide guidance throughout the process. Participants will also receive preparatory materials before the workshop. Additional sample materials will be provided for inspiration.
Münster's city center, including areas like Prinzipalmarkt and the cathedral, offers ample opportunities for capturing content. The approximately four-hour photo walk is structured to ensure sufficient time for material collection. Participants are free to use any equipment they prefer, from professional cameras to smartphones.
