Model Analysis Supports TECVAYLI/DARZALEX FASPRO Combination in Early Myeloma
A model-based analysis suggests the combination of TECVAYLI® and DARZALEX FASPRO® may redefine long-term survival for early-line relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma patients.
A new model-based analysis provides further support for the potential of the combination therapy TECVAYLI® (teclistamab-cqyv) plus DARZALEX FASPRO® (daratumumab and hyaluronidase-fihj) to alter long-term survival expectations in early-line relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma.
The analysis indicated that approximately 87% of patients treated with the TECVAYLI® and DARZALEX FASPRO® combination as early as the second line were estimated to have a mortality risk comparable to the general population.
A separate analysis showed that the survival benefit was driven by a 90% reduction in the risk of multiple myeloma. This suggests the combination could play a significant role in slowing disease progression and improving patient outcomes.
The findings imply this treatment strategy may represent a notable advancement in managing multiple myeloma, a condition where treatment options for early relapse or refractory disease have historically been limited.
