Mohawk Industries reports Q3 2026 earnings amidst soft market demand
Mohawk Industries generated $2.8 billion in net sales during the third quarter, as price adjustments helped offset a 4% decline in sales volumes.

Mohawk Industries reported net sales of $2.8 billion for the third quarter of 2026, representing a 1% increase compared to the previous year. The company posted an adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $2.72, a 2% rise, despite facing what CEO Paul De Cock described as a weak demand environment.
To manage inflationary pressures, the company implemented price increases and focused on operational productivity. While adjusted sales volumes fell by approximately 4%, the company stated that these price actions and favorable product mix shifts collectively contributed about $132 million, successfully offsetting $117 million in rising underlying costs. The company achieved an adjusted EBITDA of $353 million, yielding a margin of 12.7%.
Performance varied across geographical segments. The Global Ceramic and Flooring North America segments remained relatively stable. Conversely, the Flooring Rest of the World segment saw a 10% decline in volume due to continued soft demand across its markets. Despite these operational pressures, the company maintained its commitment to shareholder returns, reducing total shares outstanding by approximately 4%.
Looking toward the end of the year, the company expects market conditions to remain challenging. The guidance for adjusted EPS in the fourth quarter is set between $1.35 and $1.45.
