Calhoun, Georgia. Mohawk Industries, Inc. (NYSE: MHK) reported its fourth quarter 2025 financial results, with net sales reaching $2.7 billion, a 2.4% increase as reported compared to the prior year. The company posted a net earning of $42 million, or $0.68 per share, while adjusted net earnings were $124 million, or $2.00 per share.

For the full year 2025, net sales were $10.8 billion, a 0.5% decrease from 2024. Full-year net earnings amounted to $370 million, or $5.93 per share. Chairman and CEO Jeff Lorberbaum stated that the results were in line with expectations, benefiting from productivity gains, restructuring initiatives, and lower interest expenses, partially offset by pricing pressures and increased input costs.

According to Lorberbaum, the industry continues to face macroeconomic headwinds since the latter half of 2022. Weak consumer confidence has led to postponed discretionary spending, such as home renovations, and low housing turnover in major regions due to affordability and economic uncertainty. While US mortgage rates have decreased, and European interest rates are at their lowest since autumn 2022 with easing inflation and steady employment, overall housing market conditions remain challenging.

In response to these conditions, Mohawk Industries has implemented actions to stimulate sales and improve product mix through new product introductions and marketing programs. The company reduced capital expenditures to $435 million in 2025 and initiated restructuring actions to lower its cost structure. Mohawk Industries anticipates that lower interest rates and constrained housing supply will support a market rebound.
