Mom & Baby Care Startup Promom Raises ₹30 Crore
Indian maternal and baby care startup Promom has secured ₹30 crore ($3.1 million) in a funding round led by Fireside Ventures. The funds will be used to expand its product portfolio and distribution network across India.

Bengaluru-based Promom, a startup focused on maternal and baby care products, has raised ₹30 crore (approximately $3.1 million USD) in a funding round led by Fireside Ventures. The company stated the capital will be allocated towards expanding its product offerings and scaling its distribution channels nationwide.
Founded in 2023 by Anavi Kalia, Manas Tripathi, and Aditya Srivastava, Promom develops products designed to address feeding-related challenges faced by new mothers. Prior to this investment, the company operated as a bootstrapped Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business, with growth largely driven by customer referrals and recommendations.
The funding round highlights increased investor activity in India's baby care and parenting ecosystem. The sector has seen several other recent capital injections, including Swara Baby Products filing for an IPO and premium brand R for Rabbit raising $27 million in a Series B round.
India's baby care products market was valued at $4.82 billion in 2025 and is projected to exceed $10 billion by 2034. Growth is attributed to rising parental awareness regarding infant hygiene and wellness, alongside increased urbanization, a rise in nuclear families, and growing disposable incomes.
