Momenta and Shenlong Technology Forge Global Strategic Partnership for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems

Chinese AI company Momenta announced a global strategic partnership with Shenlong Technology, the operator of Peugeot and Jeep brands in China, on September 24. The agreement aims to deepen collaboration on user experience, advanced driver assistance, and higher levels of autonomous driving.

The partnership will leverage Dongfeng Motor and Stellantis Group's vehicle manufacturing capabilities, integrating smart cockpit technology and electrical architecture. By combining this with Shenlong Technology's chassis tuning expertise for Peugeot, Citroën, and Jeep brands, the companies plan to develop new energy vehicles that offer a "pleasing aesthetic, driving pleasure, and peace of mind."

Utilizing Momenta's R7 World Model, the companies will jointly develop advanced intelligent driver assistance systems. These systems are intended for integration into new production models of Peugeot and Jeep, with deployment planned for China, Europe, and other global markets. This initiative aims to accelerate the global intelligent transformation of Stellantis Group's mainstream brands.

New models equipped with these advanced systems are expected to begin rolling out from 2027 onwards. They will include various powertrain options such as pure electric and plug-in hybrid, catering to diverse scenarios including off-road, urban commuting, and family travel. The collaboration underscores a commitment to transforming technological capabilities into tangible user experiences across different driving conditions, including unpaved roads and varied terrain.
