Momenta Expands to Autonomous Freight with Robovan Unit
Chinese autonomous driving company Momenta has launched its Robovan autonomous freight business, with vehicles already operating in Suzhou's Xiangcheng district.

Chinese autonomous driving technology firm Momenta has launched its Robovan business, entering the autonomous freight sector. The company announced that vehicles are already in operation within the Xiangcheng district of Suzhou.
The Robovan operation utilizes Momenta's R7 world model and a map-free approach, adapted from the company's experience with passenger car autonomous systems. The deployed vehicles are being used for express and overnight delivery services.
Momento stated that their platform is designed to support multiple applications, including passenger cars, Robovan trucks, and Robotaxi services, with potential for expansion into embodied AI. The company has previously equipped over one million production vehicles and over 100 vehicle models with its systems.
