Monivent receives additional patent from European Patent Office
Medical technology firm Monivent AB has been granted a new patent by the European Patent Office protecting technical aspects of its disposable medical components.
The European Patent Office (EPO) has granted Monivent AB an additional patent, expanding the company's intellectual property portfolio. The new patent is a divisional application belonging to the same family as a previously awarded Swedish patent titled “Monitoring Arrangement for Flow Constriction.”
The patent specifically covers technical solutions utilized within Monivent’s disposable components. This European protection aligns with a corresponding patent previously granted by the Swedish Intellectual Property Office (PRV).
Monivent specializes in monitoring technologies for neonatal resuscitation. Securing this intellectual property provides the company with broader legal protection for its core components as it continues to develop its medical device offerings.
