Monster Energy Athletes Earn Medals at X Games New Orleans

Monster Energy athletes claimed a total of five medals, including one gold and four bronze, on the first day of X Games New Orleans 2026. The event, held at the Caesars Superdome, saw 15-year-old Mizuho Hasegawa of Japan win gold in the Women's Skateboard Vert discipline.

Hasegawa secured her gold medal on her final attempt with a technical performance. Her countrywoman, 19-year-old Asahi Kaihara, added a bronze medal to Japan's success. The competition also featured a bronze for Australia's Boyd Hilder in BMX Street and Belgium's Julien Vanstippen in Moto X Best Whip.

American Julian Agliardi, 16, contributed to Monster Energy's tally with a bronze medal in the Men's Skateboard Street Best Trick event. The medals won on day one highlight the team's strong performance at the start of the X Games League season.

X Games New Orleans 2026 serves as the inaugural event for the new MoonPay X Games League (XGL), the world's first year-round, team-based, co-ed league in action sports. Monster Energy is a founding partner of the XGL.
