Monster Energy athletes achieved significant success on the second day of X Games New Orleans 2026, securing a total of eleven medals. These included three gold, four silver, and four bronze, distributed across six different disciplines held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Saturday.
The event is part of the new MoonPay X Games League (XGL), described as the world's first year-round, team-based, co-ed league in action sports, with Monster Energy as a founding partner.
Gold medalists included Tom Schaar in Men's Skateboard Park and Ryan Williams in BMX Park Best Trick. The BMX Dirt event saw a complete sweep by Monster Energy riders, with Brady Baker taking gold, Mike Varga silver, and Ryan Williams bronze. In Men's Skateboard Street, Toa Sasaki earned silver. Tom Schaar also claimed silver in Men's Skateboard Vert Best Trick, accompanied by JD Sanchez who took bronze. In the women's category, Asahi Kaihara won silver and Mizuho Hasegawa bronze in Women's Skateboard Vert Best Trick.
Competitions are scheduled to continue through Sunday, with these results contributing to the XGL Summer Season standings, leading up to the championship decider.
