Mont SUTTON updates infrastructure and branding ahead of 2026-2027 ski season
Mont SUTTON is investing over $8 million in a new quad chairlift and expanded learning facilities to prepare for the upcoming 2026–2027 winter season.

Mont SUTTON has launched a series of capital improvements ahead of the 2026–2027 winter season, highlighted by an $8 million investment in a new quad chairlift. The project, supported by a $5 million grant from PARIT, aims to improve boarding efficiency and increase capacity in beginner and intermediate zones.
Beyond the chairlift, the resort has expanded its learning area, incorporating a 90-meter magic carpet to improve accessibility for novice skiers. The resort has also bolstered its snowmaking capabilities by installing 29 additional snowmaking units across the mountain, intended to enhance surface conditions during the season.
Alongside physical upgrades, the organization has debuted a new corporate identity, including a revised logo and website, developed in partnership with the agency Oasis. This branding shift marks the resort’s strategic transition toward a four-season operating model. Operational changes include new sustainable food service initiatives and the introduction of a specialized bootfitting workshop.
To address staffing and accessibility, the resort is promoting new public transportation options in the region, which are expected to improve staff retention and simplify travel for guests.
