Mont SUTTON upgrades infrastructure with new quad chairlift
Quebec ski resort Mont SUTTON is investing over $8 million in facility upgrades, including a new quad chairlift and expanded learning areas ahead of the 2026–2027 season.

Mont SUTTON has announced significant upgrades to its Quebec facility ahead of the 2026–2027 winter season. The centerpieces of the investment are a new quad chairlift for the beginner and intermediate zones, supported by a $5 million grant from PARIT, and an expanded learning area featuring a 90-meter magic carpet.
The resort has also updated its snowmaking capabilities, installing 29 new snow-generating units across the mountain to improve coverage. As part of a broader shift toward a year-round operational model, the company has undergone a comprehensive rebranding, launching a new logo and digital platform.
Operational changes include the introduction of new technical skill programs and a professional boot-fitting service. On the sustainability front, the resort has implemented reusable tableware in its dining facilities and established a regional public transportation link for employees. These initiatives follow the company’s 65th anniversary and aim to consolidate its market position.
