Monument Mining Removes Tuckanarra as Joint Venture Manager

Monument Mining Limited has removed Tuckanarra Resources Pty Ltd as manager of the Tuckanarra Gold Project Joint Venture due to alleged breaches of the agreement. The removal became effective in late September.

18 October 2026

Monument Mining Limited announced that its subsidiary, Monument Murchison Pty Ltd, has removed Tuckanarra Resources Pty Ltd as the Joint Venture Manager for the Tuckanarra Gold Project. The removal, effective September 25, 2026, follows allegations of material breaches of the exploration joint venture agreement.

Moment Murchison holds a 20% free-carried interest in the project. Monument Mining alleges that Tuckanarra breached the agreement by unilaterally entering into a toll milling agreement with other parties without Monument Murchison's authorization or consent.

Monument notified Tuckanarra of the breach in August, and subsequent discussions were held to resolve the matter. Following the expiry of an agreed standstill period without resolution, Monument Murchison exercised its right to remove Tuckanarra as Manager per the agreement's terms.

Moment Mining has requested a management committee meeting to appoint a replacement Manager and stated it does not consider itself bound by the toll milling agreement. The company reserves its rights to seek recovery for any losses incurred due to the alleged breaches.
