Monument Mining Reports Increased Revenue and Profit for Fiscal 2026
Monument Mining reported a significant increase in revenue and net profit for fiscal year 2026. The company's cash reserves and working capital strengthened, though production costs per ounce rose.

Monument Mining Limited announced a substantial rise in financial performance for the fiscal year 2026, ending June 30, 2026. The company's gross revenue climbed to $165.72 million, a notable increase from $98.64 million in the previous fiscal year. Net earnings more than doubled, reaching $68.80 million, or $0.20 per share, compared to $37.54 million, or $0.11 per share, in fiscal 2025.
The growth was driven by increased gold production from its Selinsing mine and higher average realized gold prices. The company's cash flow from operations improved to $82.21 million, and its cash reserves expanded to $109.56 million. President and CEO Cathy Zhai stated that the company has strengthened its financial foundation and is prioritizing sustained production at Selinsing, accelerated exploration to extend mine life, and the advancement of the Murchison project.
However, production costs per ounce saw a significant increase. The cash cost per ounce sold averaged $1,243, up from $814 in the prior year. Monument Mining attributed this rise to deeper mining operations, higher royalty rates, and increased royalty payments corresponding to higher gold prices. All-in sustaining costs (AISC) also increased to $1,446 per ounce.
The company also distributed a special dividend to shareholders and was recognized on the TSX Venture 50 list. Monument Mining continues its exploration activities and development efforts across its portfolio to enhance production and shareholder value.
