Founded in 2015 by Tom Blomfield, Monzo is one of the UK's most prominent fintech companies. The firm has faced financial challenges recently, and reports suggest it is also considering a new funding round to raise between £300 million and £400 million.
Monzo last raised £300 million in September 2023, at a valuation of £3.6 billion. These new discussions and potential acquisition rumors highlight Monzo's efforts to secure its future and growth strategically.
