Among the released videos are comparisons pitting Kimi K3 against competing models. Specifically, comparisons have been presented against Claude Fable 5 and GPT-5.6-Sol, potentially demonstrating Kimi K3's capabilities.
One video also refers to a model codenamed "Kivine" on the Arena.ai platform, which is believed to be related to Kimi K3. These releases have sparked discussion within the AI community, with the company expected to challenge existing major players.
Moonshot AI has previously released and open-sourced its Kimi K2 and K2.6 models, which have seen improvements in areas such as coding abilities and Agent task execution. The company has also previously garnered attention for its extensive advertising campaigns in China.
