Moonshot AI's Kimi K3 Available on Microsoft Foundry

Moonshot AI's Kimi K3 language model is now available to enterprise users through Fireworks AI on Microsoft's Foundry platform. The offering provides Azure customers with a managed route to run the model via OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions and Responses APIs.

Microsoft Foundry supplies the Azure-native environment for procurement, identity, billing, and governance, while Fireworks AI provides the inference engine and dedicated capacity. This setup aims to assist companies in moving open models from evaluation to production without the need to manage their own GPU infrastructure.

Fireworks AI lists Kimi K3 among more than 20 open models served through the Foundry platform. Moonshot AI continues to offer the model through its own Kimi platform API, with self-hosted deployment options detailed in its technical documentation.

This development expands enterprise distribution and deployment channels rather than launching a new model. The solution enables businesses to leverage advanced open AI models more easily and with greater control in a cloud-based environment.
