Helsinki – Morgan Stanley's joint holding in Outotec Oyj's share capital has dropped below the threshold requiring notification under the Securities Market Act. The disclosure was made on April 30, 2008.

The Securities Market Act mandates that entities whose ownership or voting rights exceed or fall below five, ten, twenty, thirty, fifty, or ninety percent of a company's share capital or voting rights must report such changes to the company and the Financial Supervisory Authority.

As of April 25, 2008, Morgan Stanley held a total of 2,062,917 Outotec shares. This holding represented 4.91 percent of the company's share capital and voting rights. Outotec's total share capital consists of 42,000,000 shares, with each share carrying one vote at the general meeting.
