Mothers Introduces Ceramic Instant Detailer to California Gold Line
Mothers is expanding its California Gold Ceramic car care line with the launch of a new SiO2-based detailer designed for maintenance, debuting at the 2026 SEMA Show.
Mothers, a manufacturer of automotive care products, has added a new Ceramic Instant Detailer to its California Gold Ceramic line. The product, which features an SiO2-enhanced formula, was unveiled at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, running from November 3 to 6.
The new spray is marketed as a multifunctional tool intended for use as a ceramic detailer, a surface topper to enhance existing coatings, and a drying aid for freshly washed vehicles. The product is compatible with both wet and dry finishes and can be applied in various environmental conditions.
"The product is designed to integrate into existing maintenance routines, allowing users to add gloss and water beading easily," said Shane Christman, vice president of marketing at Mothers. The release is positioned to complement the broader California Gold portfolio, which includes ceramic-infused wash, correction, and wax products.
Manufactured in the United States, the Ceramic Instant Detailer is scheduled to ship on December 1, 2026. It will be available through automotive and home improvement retailers, as well as online via Amazon and the company's website, with an MSRP of $17.99.
