Motion Designer Pasha Motorin Visualizes Digital World with Maxon Tools
Motion designer Pasha Motorin uses Maxon's Cinema 4D and Redshift to create visualizations of digital data.

Motion designer Pasha Motorin has refined his skills using software like Cinema 4D and Redshift to create novel visual styles for representing the digital world. Motorin's interest in digital graphics began during a video design class within his journalism studies, which led him to create his own animations.
In his professional work, Motorin primarily utilizes tools such as Cinema 4D, Redshift, and After Effects. Connecting with international clients became easier after he started sharing his projects on platforms like Dribbble and Behance. In his free time, Motorin focuses on personal projects that deepen his expertise in 3D motion design. He has encountered situations where he was asked to do 2D work, despite his passion lying in 3D graphics.
One of his most notable projects is "Big Data," a short video that attempts to visualize what large amounts of data might look like. The inspiration came from a scene in the Starz TV series "American Gods" where a character steps into the digital realm. Motorin described the digital world, "at a molecular level," as binary code composed of ones and zeros.
The project involved Cinema 4D and Red Giant tools, including Trapcode Form, for shape creation. To improve rendering speed, Motorin switched to Redshift and utilized its glass rendering capabilities. Creating effects such as textures and shapes required complex steps in After Effects and Cinema 4D, resulting in a dynamic visual experience of moving elements and data streams.
