Motiva Appoints Terry Rogers as Executive Vice President of Human Resources

Houston-based energy company Motiva announced the appointment of Terry Rogers as its new Executive Vice President of Human Resources, effective November 1, 2026. Rogers joins the company’s executive leadership team after serving in internal management roles since 2019.

In his new capacity, Rogers will manage the company’s human resources functions and serve as secretary to the Board’s Talent and Compensation Committee. His mandate includes advising the board on culture and talent management, drawing on over two decades of experience in the energy sector, including prior roles at Valero and Flint Hills Resources.

CEO Jeff Rinker noted that Rogers’s background in industrial relations and technical workforce development informed the appointment. Rogers’s focus will be on guiding the HR organization’s strategic initiatives and workforce engagement.

Motiva, a subsidiary of Aramco, operates the largest refinery in North America located in Port Arthur, Texas. The company handles over 730,000 barrels per day and distributes petroleum products across the Americas.
