Motorq and Subaru Partner to Provide Direct Fleet Telematics

Motorq, a Connected Vehicle Intelligence platform provider, and Subaru of America have announced a partnership to deliver direct connected vehicle data to fleets. Starting with model year 2027 vehicles, the integration will stream native Subaru telematics for fleet vehicles directly into Motorq's platform. This collaboration marks the first time Subaru has made embedded vehicle data available directly to fleet operators in the United States.

Historically, fleet operators accessed Subaru vehicle data via aftermarket hardware or consumer-focused software like the MySubaru app. These methods involve procurement and installation costs, are prone to failure or tampering, and require ongoing device management. The direct software integration with Motorq resolves these limitations by providing enterprise-grade data access across an entire fleet.

Under the partnership, Subaru's Connected Services platform will stream vehicle telemetry directly to Motorq. Motorq will ingest, unify, and normalize signals such as vehicle location, odometer readings, and diagnostic trouble codes directly from Subaru's embedded sensors. Motorq's Fuse AI will then analyze these signals to generate insights and recommendations, helping fleet managers address maintenance risks early and identify cost savings.

Subaru's Fleet Connectivity Program is available on telematics-enabled model year 2027 gas and hybrid vehicles. Prepaid connectivity can be added when ordering a vehicle.
