Mouser Electronics Donates Texas Instruments Calculators to Mansfield ISD for STEM Education
Mouser Electronics has provided Texas Instruments calculators and STEM educational tools to Mansfield ISD schools to support math and science instruction.

Mouser Electronics has supplied new Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus CE calculators with Python coding capabilities to schools in the Mansfield (Texas) Independent School District (MISD) for the 2024-25 school year. The donation aims to support the district's science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) educational programs, particularly for math and science classes.
In addition to the calculators, the district received Texas Instruments TI-Innovator Hubs, TI-Innovator Rovers, and other data collection tools such as the TI Calculator Based Ranger 2 and Vernier EasyTemp temperature probes. Approximately 500 high school students will utilize these tools in courses ranging from Algebra 2 to Calculus, Statistics, Biology, and Geometry. The equipment enables students to write code and collect and analyze experimental data, mirroring the practices of scientists and mathematicians.
Mouser Electronics has partnered with the MISD Education Foundation for several years. Previously, the company has supported the district by funding grants for STEM academies, sponsoring science labs, and expanding school makerspaces. The company states its long-term goal is to foster innovation and education among youth.
