Mouser Electronics has released a new technical guide to assist customers in selecting pressure sensors manufactured by Sensata. The guide covers a wide range of sensors for low-pressure and medium-pressure applications.
Component distributor Mouser Electronics has released a pressure sensor selection guide brochure, developed in collaboration with Sensata Technologies. The brochure aims to help engineers and designers identify suitable pressure sensors for various applications, including HVAC, medical devices, and industrial processes.
According to the guide, Sensata manufactures low-pressure sensors suitable for use in variable air volume (VAV) systems, medical devices, and filter pressure monitoring. These sensors can detect pressures ranging from 0 to 15 PSI, utilizing PRT or SI capacitive technologies.
Medium-pressure options cover a range from 0 to 750 PSI. These sensors are offered in various package configurations, including stainless steel and plated steel designs. Application examples include HVAC, commercial beverage systems, engine control, and construction. Several series are RoHS and REACH compliant, and carry UL approvals and drinking water safe certifications.
