Component distributor Mouser Electronics has begun shipping Eaton Electrical's new easyE4 nano programmable logic controllers (PLCs). These devices are designed for industrial automation and control applications.
Mouser Electronics has announced the immediate availability of Eaton Electrical's new easyE4 nano programmable logic controllers (PLCs). These controllers are intended for use in industrial automation and control applications, offering efficient system management.
The easyE4 nano PLCs facilitate the creation of streamlined control systems, supporting applications such as lighting management, energy control, pump management, HVAC systems, home automation, and agricultural operations. A key feature is the front-panel programming capability, which aims to reduce wiring complexity and minimize system downtime.
Each base unit comes with 12 inputs/outputs (I/Os) and can be expanded to a network of up to 188 I/O points through local expansion modules. The controllers offer flexibility with support for various voltage types (DC, AC, UC) and broad communication options, including field bus protocols like Modbus RTU and Smartwire-DT.
The devices feature a user-friendly programming environment supporting four languages (ST, FBD, LD, EDP). They also include integrated display and visualization options, web server and Ethernet connectivity for mobile access, and a micro-SD card slot for data logging and custom startup displays. A real-time clock ensures precise time indication, while an interrupt function allows for rapid event recognition and response times.
