Mouser Releases ESP32-C3 LCD Development Kit for Small Screen Applications
Mouser Electronics has launched the ESP32-C3-LCDkit, a development board designed to facilitate the creation of graphical user interfaces (GUI) for small screen applications.

Mouser Electronics has introduced the ESP32-C3-LCDkit, a development board aimed at simplifying the creation of graphical user interfaces for devices with small displays.
The kit features the ESP32-C3-MINI-1 module, equipped with 4 MB of flash memory and 400 KB of SRAM. It includes a 1.28-inch LCD screen with an SPI interface and a 240x240 resolution. The board is designed for screen interaction, incorporating a rotary encoder switch for navigation and selection.
ESP32-C3-LCDkit supports various displays through SPI and I2C interfaces. It also integrates infrared (IR) transmitter and receiver capabilities for wireless control. Audio playback is enabled by an onboard amplifier and speaker. Power and data transfer are handled via a USB Type-C port, which also serves for downloading and debugging.
The development board is supported by the ESP-IDF framework, which is based on FreeRTOS and includes components for LCD, ADC, RMT, and SPI. A user guide provides details on hardware and software setup, application development, and hardware references. Sample requests can also be made through this process.
This development kit offers a cost-effective solution for engineers working on embedded systems that require interactive GUIs and low power consumption, finding use cases in areas such as smart home devices, industrial control panels, and wearable technology.
