Mouser to Ship Eaton's New easyE4 Nano Programmable Logic Controllers

Mouser Electronics is now shipping Eaton Electrical's new easyE4 nano programmable logic controllers (PLCs). These controllers are intended for industrial automation and control applications, including lighting, energy management, pump control, and HVAC systems.

The easyE4 PLCs allow for efficient control systems through front-panel programming, which eliminates the need to change wiring and minimizes downtime. Each base unit offers 12 input/output (I/O) points that can be expanded to a network of up to 188 I/O points using local expansion modules.

The controllers provide flexibility with support for a wide voltage range (DC, AC, and UC) and the ability to combine base units of different voltage types via expansion modules. The programming environment supports four languages—ST, FBD, LD, and EDP—and includes an integrated display, web server, and Ethernet options for mobile access.

The easyE4 also features data logging capabilities via an integrated micro-SD card and customizable startup displays with three background colors for visualizing device statuses. An integrated real-time clock and Ethernet services ensure precise timekeeping, while interrupt functions enable rapid event detection and response.
