Movies about tech moguls are being made

A surge of new films are set to explore the lives and careers of influential figures within the technology sector, bringing their stories to the big screen.

The documentary "You Can See Everything," premiering October 16, centers on Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of Theranos, who was convicted of fraud. The film reportedly provides an intimate look at Holmes's life prior to her prison sentence.

Also releasing on October 16 is "Elon Musk," a documentary about the SpaceX and Tesla CEO directed by Alex Gibney. The film was made without Musk's cooperation, but features interviews with his ex-wife and the mother of one of his children.

On December 25, "Artificial Stars" will debut, focusing on OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Directed by Luca Guadagnino, the film covers the dramatic events at OpenAI in 2023 when Altman was briefly ousted and then reinstated.

Mark Zuckerberg is also the subject of "The Social Reckoning," a follow-up to "The Social Network," set for release on October 9. The film, written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, examines the period around the 2021 "Facebook Files" exposé.
