Moxa Receives Saudi Energy Prequalification for Industrial Networking
Moxa has been prequalified by Saudi Energy for its industrial networking and computing solutions, including Ethernet switches, firewalls, and computers. This allows Moxa to supply critical infrastructure for the region's energy sector.

Moxa, a provider of industrial communication and networking solutions, announced it has received prequalification from Saudi Energy (Saudi Electricity Company and National Grid). The approval covers Moxa's ruggedized industrial Ethernet switches, industrial next-generation firewalls, and industrial computers.
The three product categories have been added to Saudi Energy's List of Technically Acceptable Manufacturers (LOTAM). This enables Moxa to supply integrated industrial networking and computing solutions for critical energy infrastructure applications such as Substation Automation (SA) and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).
The prequalification followed a rigorous process including third-party laboratory testing, a factory visit, and proof-of-concept testing. Moxa stated that its solutions also support the modernization of legacy substations, drawing on its global experience in upgrading utility infrastructure.
This approval is expected to strengthen Moxa's opportunities in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East, particularly as the region's power sector grows with the development of AI data centers and large-scale projects. Moxa has over 35 years of industry experience and states it has connected over 118 million devices worldwide.
