MSA Safety Reports Third Quarter 2026 Financial Results
MSA Safety posted third-quarter net sales of $536 million, while net income declined to $58 million following costs related to the $563 million acquisition of Autronica Fire and Security.

MSA Safety reported net sales of $536 million for the third quarter of 2026, representing a 15% increase compared to the previous year. Organic growth accounted for 6% of this gain. Despite the top-line increase, GAAP net income fell to $58 million, down from $69.6 million in the third quarter of 2025. The decline was largely attributed to significant costs incurred from the company's $563 million acquisition of Autronica Fire and Security.
CEO Steve Blanco stated that the integration of the new business is part of an ongoing strategy to expand the firm’s safety technology portfolio. During the quarter, the company also launched its G1 City Edition breathing apparatus and reported increased demand for its MSA+ connected safety platform, highlighted by a record order for its ALTAIR io 6 gas detectors.
Chief Financial Officer Julie Beck noted that despite the acquisition costs, the company maintained strong free cash flow conversion. Management reiterated its outlook for low-double-digit reported sales growth for the remainder of the fiscal year.
