M&T Bank Opens New Branch in Torrington, Connecticut

M&T Bank announced the grand opening of a new full-service branch at 25 Pineridge Road in Torrington, Connecticut, on September 24, 2026. The 2,400-square-foot branch offers a comprehensive suite of banking services, including teller assistance, a drive-thru, an ATM, and private offices for financial consultations. Designed to serve both consumer and business clients, the branch provides access to everyday banking, mortgage solutions, and small business banking expertise.

Michael Weinstock, Hartford Regional President for M&T Bank, stated that the new branch was designed with the customer in mind, reflecting the strong relationships built within the community. He emphasized that the location enhances the bank's ability to offer trusted financial guidance and local expertise.

As part of its commitment to Torrington, the M&T Charitable Foundation is donating $3,000 to the Friendly Hands Food Bank. This contribution aims to help expand access to essential food and support services for individuals and families in the region facing food insecurity.
