The Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC) has scheduled its 11th annual membership meeting for February 16–17, 2027, in Washington, D.C. The gathering aims to connect leaders from the defense, academic, and private industry sectors to discuss the trajectory of military medical innovation.
Dr. Shawn J. Green, President of MTEC, stated that the event is designed to bridge the gap between innovators and government decision-makers. By facilitating direct dialogue, the organization seeks to accelerate the transition of biomedical solutions from concept to operational impact.
The event program includes keynote sessions, breakout discussions, and poster presentations, providing members with a platform to showcase ongoing research and explore potential partnerships. MTEC, which consists of more than 800 member organizations, serves as a central hub for the development of medical technologies aimed at protecting and treating military and civilian populations. Participation in the summit is exclusive to MTEC members.
