MTY Food Group Inc. (TSX:MTY) is restructuring its senior executive team, with significant changes impacting its Canadian operations starting November 2, 2018. These adjustments follow the May announcement that Stanley Ma and Claude St-Pierre will transition from their roles as CEO and COO, respectively, to focus on their board duties.

The company is reorganizing its Canadian structure to accommodate its growing portfolio of restaurant brands. The Canadian operations will now be led by three separate Chief Operating Officers. Marie-Line Beauchamp will head the casual dining segment, Marc Benzacar will lead the fast-casual segment, and Jason Brading will oversee the quick-service restaurant segment. U.S. operations will maintain their current structure under Jeff Smit.

Eric Lefebvre, who is set to become CEO on November 2, expressed confidence in the new team, stating the revised structure will enhance operational focus and support MTY's organic growth. The move aims to drive expansion across its diverse brand portfolio.

Additionally, Renée St-Onge has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer, also effective November 2, 2018. MTY plans to continue its dual strategy of organic growth and strategic acquisitions to maintain its market position in the North American restaurant industry.
