Mukesh Bansal's Nurix AI Acquires Verloop to Expand AI Offerings
Enterprise AI startup Nurix AI announced its acquisition of Verloop.io, aiming to expand its voice and chat-based AI solutions. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Mukesh Bansal's enterprise AI startup Nurix AI has announced its acquisition of Verloop.io. The move is intended to broaden Nurix's offerings in both voice and chat-based AI solutions. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
The acquisition will see Verloop.io's chat automation capabilities integrated into Nurix's existing voice AI platform, NuPlay. Verloop.io currently handles over 20 million customer interactions monthly for clients across sectors including banking, fintech, retail, and telecom in India and the Middle East.
This integration aims to provide Nurix AI with a comprehensive platform capable of managing both synchronous voice and asynchronous chat customer journeys. This aligns with a market trend where businesses are seeking unified AI solutions rather than disparate tools for different engagement channels.
Gaurav Singh, founder of Verloop.io, will join Nurix AI's leadership team to oversee product strategy and go-to-market initiatives. Verloop.io, which has previously raised approximately $8 million in funding, operates in the conversational enterprise AI space, competing with companies such as Haptik and Yellow.ai.
