Multiconsult and Rejlers to merge into Nordic consultancy group

Norwegian firm Multiconsult ASA and Swedish company Rejlers AB have agreed to merge, forming a large Nordic technical consultancy group. The combination is expected to position the new entity as one of the region's leading players in technical consulting, offering a wide array of services across various sectors.

The combined company will employ approximately 4,000 professionals and aims to capture a significant market share across the Nordic countries. The merger, structured as a "merger of equals," is intended to enhance the firms' respective market positions and provide clients with more comprehensive solutions. The transaction is anticipated to be completed in the second half of 2025.

Multiconsult, with expertise in areas such as buildings, infrastructure, and industry, and Rejlers, possessing strong capabilities in electrical, building, and property technology, are seen as complementary in both geographic reach and service offerings. The merger is expected to unlock synergies and create new business opportunities for the combined entity.
