Multiconsult reports earnings decline for third quarter 2026
Multiconsult's third-quarter profitability fell amid restructuring costs and summer project slumps, despite solid order intake.

Multiconsult saw its net operating revenues rise by 2.0% to NOK 1,219.7 million in the third quarter of 2026. However, profitability suffered, with EBITA falling to NOK 6.3 million from NOK 62.1 million in the same period last year. The company attributed the decline to low activity levels during the summer months and one-time transaction costs related to its planned merger with Rejlers.
Interim CEO Kristin Olsson Augestad noted that profitability began to recover in September following the implementation of operational efficiency measures. Despite the bottom-line pressure, order intake remained robust at NOK 1,355 million, representing a 12.4% increase year-on-year.
The proposed merger with Rejlers, intended to form a large-scale Nordic consultancy group, was approved by shareholders in October. The transaction is expected to close around the turn of the year, pending final regulatory clearances.
