MultiDimension Technology Introduces High-Frequency Magnetic Field Probe
MultiDimension Technology (MDT) has launched the HFM2905, a high-frequency magnetic field probe designed for real-time analysis of magnetic signals.
Zhangjiagang, China-based MultiDimension Technology (MDT) has introduced the HFM2905, a high-frequency magnetic field probe intended for real-time magnetic signal measurement and analysis. The device covers a frequency range from DC to 1.6 MHz, offering an analog BNC output and adjustable signal conditioning.
MDT states the HFM2905 complements its existing USB magnetometer series, which is optimized for low-frequency magnetic field measurements. The new probe is suitable for electronics research and development, laboratory research, and industrial testing environments requiring accurate observation of fast-changing magnetic fields.
The probe utilizes MDT's Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) sensing technology, aiming to provide both wide measurement bandwidth and high sensitivity. A dedicated calibration fixture, including a precision stripline and current transformer, is provided to maintain measurement accuracy and traceability.
The HFM2905 is targeted at applications such as switching power supply design, power electronics development, motor drive analysis, characterization of transformers and inductors, and electromagnetic interference (EMI/EMC) debugging.
