Museum Nord Expands Operations and Launches New Exhibitions
Museum Nord has opened a new exhibition and initiated several cultural-historical and nature-related events, broadening its scope across Northern Norway's heritage.

Museum Nord, located in Northern Norway, has launched its summer season with several new exhibition openings and events that highlight the region's rich cultural and natural heritage.
Recent additions include the Klakksjorda exhibition in Bo, which delves into local history and nature, and a new exhibition in the former laundry building in Ballangen. These openings signify the museum's commitment to showcasing diverse heritage sites across Northern Norway.
The museum also announced its support for the Norwegian Museum Association and is organizing geo-tours to Keiploftet. Summer activities also feature the launching of the Viking ship Vargfotr, celebrating maritime traditions.
Continuing its educational outreach, Museum Nord recently hosted a cultural-historical walk for fifth-graders in the Skipssand area. The ongoing exhibitions and events aim to provide visitors of all ages with a comprehensive look into the history, culture, and nature of Northern Norway.
