Museum Nord Opens Jennestad Trading Post for Summer Season

Museum Nord has reopened the Jennestad Trading Post for visitors for the 2025 summer season. Visitors can explore the historic site and learn about the area's trading history from June 21 through August 3.

The trading post offers guided tours that highlight original items from the period when the post was operational. The shop features a selection of items for sale, including products from local artisans and producers such as Ullhjerte, Alveland, Siri Tollefsen, Fritz Stranda, and Karin Olsen.

The Jennestad Trading Post is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Museum Nord is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and presenting the region's cultural heritage.
